Ram Gopal Varma will not make the film Sarkar 4: Said- Gangster films will not work after Dhurandhar, shooting plan with Amitabh and Abhishek canceled
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma was about to start shooting for the film Sarkar 4 with Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan from next month i.e. April, but now he has canceled this plan. He took this decision recently after the impact of the film Dhurandhar and its sequel. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Ram Gopal Varma said that after Dhurandhar and its sequels, he does not think that Sarkar or any other gangster film will work. He said that his previous gangster films were inspired by the Hollywood film The Godfather, such as Satya, Company and Sarkar. Verma admitted that he had made some films without any specific purpose. He said that at that time he wanted to make films continuously and he felt that by going on the set the film would be made automatically. Perspective changed from Dhurandhar: Verma Verma said that Dhurandhar and its sequel have changed his thinking. According to him, Aditya Dhar made this film only to tell the story and not to prove any point. He said that he wants to start his career afresh and is impressed by Aditya Dhar’s work. Verma said that the way he used to look at Steven Spielberg during his college days, he now has the same look at Aditya Dhar. Varma will no longer make the film Sarkar 4. He told that his next film will be Syndicate. He says that he will work on this film with complete honesty and it will be his most honest work after Satya.
