Jammu: One day after another the army The jawan went missing during a river crossing training exercise in Sundarbani sector of J&K’s Rajouri district, his body was recovered from a river on Tuesday.A joint search team of the Army, the National Disaster Response Force and local rescuers recovered the body of about 25-year-old sepoy Akshit Sharma from Manwar river in Khair area in the morning, officials said.Sharma was a resident of Baijnath in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. He was posted in 9 Punjab Regiment.
