I grew up in a family where women are the boss: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: “I grew up in a family where women were the boss,” Congress’ Rahul Gandhi told the students during a lunchtime conversation in Kerala, and noted, “The boss of my family was my grandmother and I have always outnumbered women in my family, like this table”.He added, “Women are generally more intelligent than men. Men are hasty and blinded by stupidity. Women think long-term and don’t exercise power directly, which is effective.”In a post, Rahul said, “I am deeply moved by the dreams, curiosity and confidence of each student. Conversations like these remind us that when women recognize their potential and step forward with an open mind, they can make a tremendous difference.” She said, “Every woman is unique. Their sensitivity, understanding and emotional intelligence provide balance and direction to society. Women wield power in their own unique way – with patience, long-term vision and compassion.” Meanwhile, Congress MP from Kerala, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, posted on X, “On this Women’s Day, let every woman realize her power…” TNN
