These days, the contract dispute between filmmaker Raj Shandilya and Balaji Telefilms is in the news. Meanwhile, Raj Shandilya has issued a statement calling the allegations against him baseless and said that his upcoming film ‘Bhagam Part 2’ is progressing as per plan. Raaj Shandilya said that he had issued a notice to terminate his arrangement with Balaji Telefilms in exercise of his legal rights under his contract. According to him, it has been more than two weeks since this notice was issued. If the company found any solid grounds to challenge this decision, it could have moved a civil court, but no such legal action has been initiated so far. The director says that now exaggerated and baseless criminal allegations are being made against him. Calling it an attempt to put pressure on him, he said that he has full confidence in his legal position and will respond to any allegations as per the legal process. Actually, this controversy is allegedly related to the contract that Raaj Shandilya had signed with Balaji Telefilms chief Ekta Kapoor’s company. According to reports, under this deal he was to direct three films. It is alleged that without completing the third film, he started working on other projects, which also includes ‘Bhagam Bhag 2’. On the other hand, Raj Shandilya says that he has concluded this agreement as per the rules. He also clarified that there has been no change in the plans of ‘Bhagam Bhag 2’ and the work of the film will proceed as per the schedule. The director also appealed to people associated with the film and creative industry to pay attention to the pressure methods being adopted in this matter and form their own opinion while deciding future professional partnerships. Let us tell you that the film ‘Bhagam Bhag’ was a comedy film released in the year 2006. It was directed by famous filmmaker Priyadarshan. Artists like Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Lara Dutta were seen in the film. The film was well-liked for its fast-paced comedy, misunderstandings and hilariously chaotic story. The film was also successful at the box office and later became considered a cult comedy. Now the sequel of this film ‘Bhagam Bhag 2’ is being made. This time the film is being directed by Raj Shandilya. Once again there is talk of actors like Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the film. The makers are planning to make this sequel full of comedy and entertainment like the first part.
