New Delhi: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday expressed hope that Prime Minister Modi would raise the Gaza massacre and demand justice for Palestinians in her address to the Israeli Knesset.“India as an independent nation has stood for what is right throughout our history, we must show the world the light of truth, peace and justice,” he wrote in X.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, referring to the Epstein file, quipped to the Prime Minister that “At least once, you have already ‘danced and sung’ in Israel on the behest of Epstein – so this time, on whose behest will you make a deal against the country’s interests?”Against the backdrop of a colorful movie-like parody poster titled ‘Jeffrey Ne Bana Di Jodi’, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera cited email exchanges released under the Epstein file to allege that post-2014 Indo-Israel ties were laid and forged by convicted sex offender Jefferin.“The foundations of India-Israel relations after 2014 were laid by Jeffrey Epstein… (former Israeli Prime Minister) Ehud Barak, Jeffrey Epstein, Hardeep Puri… That’s how our foreign policy was shaped,” he said.
