A husband brutally murdered his own wife in a dispute over a trivial matter in the country’s capital Delhi. After the murder, the husband himself reached the police station and surrendered after informing the police station incharge about the incident. The police reached the spot, took possession of the woman’s body and sent it for postmortem. The police has arrested the husband accused of murder.
The incident took place in Baba Haridas Nagar police station area of Delhi. According to the information, on the morning of July 5, a person reached Baba Haridas Nagar police station. He went straight to the duty officer and said that he had murdered his wife. He also told that the body was lying at home. The duty officer immediately informed the police station incharge. After taking that person into custody, the police reached the address given by him.
When the police reached inside the house, the dead body of the woman was found lying soaked in blood. There was also a pan near the dead body. The police took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem and registered a case and arrested the accused. The name of the accused husband is said to be Dinesh Patel. Dinesh told the police that he had a fight with his wife. In anger, he hit his wife on the head with a pan kept in the kitchen.

Dinesh said that due to this the wife’s head got injured and she died on the spot. According to Dinesh, he works in an IT company and was unemployed for the last three months. He has a disease called schizophrenia. He was married to Sarita 21 years ago in 2005. He has two sons. The elder son is preparing for admission in engineering, while the younger son studies in fifth class.

According to Dinesh, his wife Sarita’s parents had also shifted near his house. After this, frequent fights started between husband and wife. Even on Sunday morning there was a fight between the two and he lost his temper in anger. He attacked Sarita with the pan kept in the kitchen. Sarita suffered serious head injury and died on the spot.
