A tragic accident took place on National Highway 730 in Lakhimpur Kheri district. Where a heavy Tata Magic and a truck with passengers collided near Barehata in Isanagar police station area. Due to which about 10 passengers traveling in Tata Magic died. While the condition of four passengers is critical. Those who have been admitted to the Community Health Center Isanagar for treatment.
It is said that a Tata Magic carrying about 14 passengers was going from Lakhimpur towards Bahraich on the National Highway in Isanagar police station area at around 7 am on Monday near Barehata. Then it collided with a speeding truck coming from Bahraich. Due to which 8 passengers traveling in Tata Magic died on the spot. While two more passengers died during treatment at the Community Health Centre.
What did the CO say on the incident?
After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the bodies of all the deceased to the district headquarters for post-mortem. The injured have been admitted to Community Health Center Isanagar for treatment. Dhaurhara area CO Shamsher Singh said that today at around 7 am, a road accident took place on Lakhimpur and Bahraich highway near village Barehata in Isanagar police station area. In which a truck and Magic collided head-on.
10 people died in this collision. In which there are 7 men and two women. While 4 people have also been injured in the accident. Who are undergoing treatment. The relatives of the deceased have been informed and further action is underway in the case.
