After the accident related to the coaching institute in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has started a large-scale action in Kakadev, the major coaching hub of the city. During the special campaign launched on Monday, 22 coaching institutes including Physics ones were sealed. This action was taken after investigation revealed violations of building and safety standards in these institutions.
The team of KDA officers inspected different areas and identified those institutions where the necessary rules were not being followed. During the action the institutions were evacuated and later sealed.
According to the authority, under the campaign, action was taken simultaneously in different zones. In the first phase, 22 institutes have been identified, while other coaching institutes are also being examined. Officials say that if standards are found to be ignored, similar action will continue in future also.
The sealed institutes include famous names like Physics, Workspace, Mahendra and Chemistry Sanjeev Rathore. A large number of officers and employees were present on the spot during the action.

At the same time, after this action, local people have also raised questions on the functioning of the administration. He says that many coaching institutes in the city have been running for a long time without adequate security arrangements and prescribed standards, but regular checks are not done.
People allege that the department becomes active only after a major accident and then takes action after running a campaign for some time.
Local citizens believe that if there is periodic inspection and review of compliance with the rules, then the shortcomings can be rectified before such a situation arises and the safety of the students can be ensured.
