लखनऊ अग्निकांड में बड़ा खुलासा! तय लिमिट से ज्यादा चल रहा था बिजली का लोड, हादसे में गई 15 जान – lucknow fire 15 dead building exceeded power load limit ntc dhrj
A big and shocking revelation has come to light in the tragic fire incident in Aliganj, Lucknow. In the commercial building where 15 people lost their lives due to fire, the electrical load was exceeding the prescribed limit. According to preliminary investigation, this three-storey building had got approval for only 20 kilowatt load. Despite this, by the month of June the load here had increased to above 34 KVA. Due to this negligence that had been going on for months, the electrical system of the entire building was under complete pressure. Now the investigating agencies are trying to find out whether this negligence had played any role in increasing the severity of the accident.
The investigation teams have found out that this negligence did not happen suddenly. Government records show that in the month of April itself the load here had increased to more than 24 KVA. It continued to increase in the months that followed. Experts believe that prolonged use of electricity beyond the prescribed limit can put additional pressure on wiring, transformers and other equipment. For this reason, the electricity system has also come under scrutiny.
Indications were coming for many months
The most surprising thing in this case is that danger signs were visible months in advance. Neighboring people say that the tenants living in the building were repeatedly complaining about MCB falling. These warnings were not taken seriously at all. In such a situation, the electricity department and investigation teams are now finding out why no action was taken in time when overload was being recorded on the meter for months.
An important part of the technical investigation is why the power supply did not stop automatically despite the increased load. Officials are trying to find out whether there was any lapse in security arrangements. During investigation, an unusual information has also come to light in the electricity connection records. A case of January 1, 1911 being recorded in the documents instead of the year 2000, is also being investigated.
At present the exact cause of the fire has not been revealed. The team of Electricity Safety Department and Electricity Supply Administration is conducting technical investigation. Further action will be decided after the report comes.
