‘लंबे जंग की तैयारी’ वाले जापानी बयान पर चीन का हमला, कहा- शांतिवादी छवि खोखली साबित हुई – china japan security strategy long war warning row mdsb ntc
China on Tuesday criticized Japan’s latest move to review three key security documents. China has warned that Tokyo’s recent actions in the military and security sectors have exposed the hollowness of its own image as a ‘peaceful country’. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian made this statement when he was asked to comment on the first special meeting of the Japanese government on Monday. The purpose of this meeting was to take forward the process of amendment in three security documents.
JapanPrime Minister Sanae Takaichi said, “Japan should learn lessons from the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the situation in the Middle East. It should be prepared to respond to new forms of warfare, prepare for a long-term war. Along with this, it should strengthen maritime security, cyber security and economic security.”
speaking at a news briefing ChinaJapan’s current administration has recently been vigorously developing the country’s military industry and has now openly talked about preparing for a long-term war, spokeswoman Lin Jian said.
After all, what did China say?
“Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s call to ‘prepare for a long war’ is extremely worrying. Such fear-mongering and his administration’s efforts to rebuild Japan’s war machine seem to be similar to the steps Japan took in the first half of the last century before carrying out large-scale invasions of more than a dozen countries,” a statement posted on the social media handle of China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
He further raised the question whether Japan’s militaristic past is returning? Can Japan once again become a problem for East Asia?
The Chinese spokesperson said, “Japan appears to be tearing up its own ‘pacifist’ code of conduct. Its recent deviation from defense-oriented principle and announcement of ‘preparation for a long war’ indicate it is rapidly moving towards a more dangerous, audacious and provocative path.”
He added, “This Sunday will mark 80 years since the Tokyo Trials began. The Takaichi administration has no intention of honoring the occasion by reflecting on Japan’s militaristic past as they prepare to rearmament Japan. Recent rhetoric from some Japanese officials sounds a lot like war-propaganda and reminds people of Japanese wartime militarists.”

The Chinese spokesperson said that the lessons of history are not yet too old. All peace-loving countries need to remain vigilant and firmly prevent the rise of Japanese neo-militarism.
