A big controversy has arisen over the alleged theft of money donated by devotees in the Ram temple of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. The controversy in this matter spread so rapidly that now the Ram Temple Trust itself has come into the fray. The Trust has directly requested Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that this entire matter should be investigated by a SIT i.e. Special Investigation Team.

For this reason, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is the government trust that looks after the Ram Temple, has decided that it is no longer right to remain silent. The trust directly informed the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath requested to.
What request did the Trust make to Chief Minister Yogi?
The Trust has asked three things from Chief Minister Yogi. First – This entire matter should be investigated by a SIT. SIT is a special investigation team which investigates any big case in depth, without any pressure.

Second – This investigation should be impartial i.e. without any favoritism and the complete truth should come out.
Third – Whoever is guilty, strict action should be taken against him. The Trust clearly said that the culprits should not be spared.
Why demand for SIT investigation?
The Trust has considered this matter very serious. This matter related to the donation amount of Ram temple is not just theft of money, but it is also a question of faith and trust of the devotees. Crores of people donate to this temple with devotion. In such a situation, if that donation is stolen and rumors spread on it, then it becomes a very sensitive matter.
The Trust wants the SIT investigation to make it clear what happened, how much was stolen, who is responsible and what steps should be taken to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
Why the request to Chief Minister Yogi?
Uttar Pradesh government and Chief Minister Yogi have a deep connection with Ram Temple. Ayodhya And Ram temple has been one of the biggest priorities of his government. Formation of SIT comes under the authority of the state government, hence the Trust made this request directly to Chief Minister Yogi.
