A cabinet meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During this period a total of 12 important proposals were passed. In this, the formation of UP State Local Rural Bodies Dedicated Backward Commission has been approved. Along with this, many big projects related to Agra Metro, education, health and electricity departments have also been given the green signal.
Agra The Cabinet has approved the proposal to transfer the necessary land for Corridor-2 of the Metro Rail Project. This decision is expected to give a lot of momentum to the expansion of metro network in Tajnagari. Nazul land of Mauza Chak Awal of Tehsil Sadar has been selected for the construction of Metro Corridor-2.
A total of 550 square meters of land has been given for this. this land Uttar Pradesh Is being allotted to Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRC).
Will get free land on request of UP Metro
The Managing Director of UP Metro had requested to allot this land without any fee. Considering this at the government level, complete relaxation has been given on the District Magistrate Circle Rate. It is being transferred free of cost with some important conditions and restrictions.
This will not be considered ‘Nazir’
It has been said in the official press note that this decision to transfer the land has been taken in completely special circumstances. This cannot be used as an example or precedent for any other case in future.
Internship allowance for veterinary students tripled
The Uttar Pradesh government has drastically increased the monthly internship allowance given to veterinary students of the state. Now the allowance given to students has been directly increased by 3 times. The internship allowance of students, which was earlier Rs 4,000 per month, has now been increased to Rs 12,000 per month.

- Acharya Narendradev University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya

Mirzapur will get a new university
Mirzapur district of Purvanchal is going to get a big gift. Under the Uttar Pradesh Private University Act, 2019, approval has been given to issue letter of intent for the establishment of ‘Sardar Patel Apex University, Mirzapur’ in the private sector. This university will be established in village Samaspur of tehsil-Chunar under the rural area of Mirzapur. 50.45 acres of land has been selected for this.

A huge sub-centre worth Rs 2,799 crore will be built in Mirzapur.
To meet the ever increasing electricity demand in UP, the government has taken another big step. An advanced 765/400 kilovolt huge pooling substation will be built in Mirzapur for smooth supply of electricity generated from the new thermal and pumped storage hydropower projects being built in the state. Along with this, the construction of transmission lines related to it has also been approved.
