A speeding car crashed into people who had come to show humanity in Ambedkar Nagar. Villagers who were helping injured bike riders on Jalalpur-Akbarpur road were crushed by an uncontrolled car. A horrific road accident took place on Jalalpur-Akbarpur road in Jalalpur Kotwali area of Ambedkarnagar district of UP. Local people had gathered at the spot to help the people injured in the collision between two bikes. Then a high speed Swift Dezire car coming from Jalalpur went out of control and crushed the crowd.
A total of 8 people died on the spot and during treatment in the accident. The police have taken the dead bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over this incident.

Earlier, two motorcycles had collided near Ashrafpur Bhua kiln located on Akbarpur road in Jalalpur. In this clash, two people got seriously injured and fell on the road. People nearby immediately gathered on the road to send the injured to the hospital and help them. During this humanitarian aid, a car coming from behind hit the people.

After the accident, the police immediately took the injured to CHC Nagpur, where doctors declared 6 people dead. At the same time, two other seriously injured were first referred to the district hospital and then to Tanda Medical College. However, both of them also died during treatment. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials to provide all possible assistance to the family members.
