मोहन यादव की कृषि भूमि में कोई वृद्धि नहीं, ज्यादातर खरीद CM बनने से पहले की… जमीन विवाद में पढ़ें Aaj Tak की ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट – Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Faces Opposition Heat Over Alleged Land Deals in Ujjain ntc dpmx
These days a big controversy has arisen in the politics of Madhya Pradesh regarding land purchase. The allegations are being leveled directly on alleged land deals related to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, his family and relatives. Congress claims that land was purchased on a large scale in the areas where roads, highways, corridors and development projects were proposed under the master plan. Whereas BJP is completely rejecting these allegations calling them political propaganda.
Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar held a press conference and claimed that the family and relatives of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav have a ‘land bank’ of about 335 acres in the Ujjain area. According to Congress, about 253 acres of land was purchased by Mohan Yadav’s family members and relatives between 2021 and 2025, out of which about 168 acres of land was purchased after he became the Chief Minister.
CM Mohan Yadav Congress’s serious allegations on
Taking names of villages like Gangedi, Navakheda, Sanvarakhedi and Chandesara, Congress alleged that ujjain-After the announcement of projects like Indore Road, Ujjain-Badnavar Road, Panchkoshi Parikrama Marg, Ujjain-Maksi Road, Ujjain-Nagda Road, Ujjain-Dewas Road and Garoth Green Field Corridor, there was a big game of land in the surrounding areas. Many relatives of the Chief Minister have also been named in the allegations. Congress claims that those who bought land in different names include Nandlal Yadav, Narayan Yadav, Rekha Yadav, Abhay Yadav, Govind Yadav, Nilesh Yadav and Kalavati Yadav.
No increase in agricultural land of Mohan Yadav
However, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s side and BJP have responded to these allegations in detail. According to the information received by Aaj Tak, there has been no increase in the agricultural land of Mohan Yadav. In November 2023, he owned 17.967 acres of agricultural land, which remained the same till June 2026. This information has already been declared in the election affidavit.
Similarly, the agricultural land of Chief Minister’s wife Seema Yadav was 12.287 acres in November 2023, which was reported to be 12.292 acres in June 2026. It was claimed that this land was purchased between 2008 and 2019, i.e. long before Mohan Yadav became the Chief Minister. Clarification has also been given regarding the company ‘Siddhi Vinayak Devcon Private Limited’ related to the Chief Minister. It was told that this company was formed in the year 2008 for agricultural purposes and Mohan Yadav and his wife Seema Yadav had already resigned from the post of its directors in the year 2017.
The company’s land also decreased by about three acres.
He also gave up all his shares in March 2026. The company had 68.43 acres of land in November 2023, which reduced to 65.69 acres by June 2026. According to the information, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s son Vaibhav Yadav had purchased 16.38 acres of agricultural land in village Sanvarakhedi between 2019 and March 2023. This purchase also took place before Mohan Yadav became the Chief Minister and Ujjain Master Plan-2035 was implemented. Vaibhav Yadav’s wife Shalini Yadav purchased 10 acres of agricultural land in village Gangeri in 2025, which has been declared outside the master plan area.
BJP says that the relatives of the Chief Minister are independent entities and they conduct their personal business and economic activities independently. Therefore, linking his personal dealings with the Chief Minister is factually incorrect. Madhya Pradesh BJP President Hemant Khandelwal said that after becoming the Chief Minister, Mohan Yadav did not buy any land. However, he admitted that other people related to the family and relatives had purchased land for their business. BJP also said that Ujjain Master Plan-2035 was implemented in May 2023, while Mohan Yadav became the Chief Minister in December 2023. In such a situation, the allegation of influencing development projects after becoming the Chief Minister is wrong.
However, many questions still remain in the entire controversy. According to the information received by Aaj Tak, Mohan Yadav’s family bought five plots after he became the Chief Minister, while other people related to the family bought about 116 plots. According to Khatauni records, relatives purchased about 76 acres of land in 2024 and about 96 acres in 2025. On this basis, Congress is claiming 335 acres of land bank. The case of Jaywantpur village on Ujjain-Maksi road is also in discussion. Here it has come to light that the Chief Minister’s cousin Govind Yadav and his sons Siddharth and Anant Yadav have purchased about four acres of land, where a colony is allegedly being developed.
Amidst this controversy, an old case of 2007 has also come into discussion again. Then Mohan Yadav was the chairman of Ujjain Development Authority and a 200 meter long bridge was constructed on Shipra river in Sanwarakhedi. Even at that time, there were allegations that the bridge was built at a place where there was no road ahead and the ancestral land of the Yadav family was present in the village. However, later he got a clean chit in this case. Local BJP leaders say that during Simhastha 2016, Sanvarakhedi was developed as a satellite town, for which this bridge proved to be very useful.
Son Vaibhav Yadav’s company has 65 acres of land.
Presently Vaibhav Yadav is the director of the company ‘Siddhivinayak Devcon Private Limited’, which is said to have about 65 acres of land in Ujjain. However, real estate traders of Ujjain say that after the inauguration of Mahakal Lok, real estate business has increased rapidly in the entire city and not only local but also investors from other parts of the state and country are buying land here. Now the biggest question at the center of this entire controversy is whether the land purchases made before development projects are just a coincidence, or is there a direct connection between power and land deals?
The allegations are serious, the answers are equally strong. Congress is demanding investigation on the basis of documents, while BJP is calling the entire matter a political propaganda. What is the truth will not be decided by allegations but by facts and investigation. At present, this matter has brought a big political upheaval in the politics of Madhya Pradesh and both its investigation and political conflict are likely to intensify in the coming days.
