The incident came to light in Majeed Nagar area around 8 am on Friday, when Kausar’s body was found in a blood-soaked condition in a room of his house. Initially, the case appeared to be murder by an unknown assailant as the woman’s neck was slit with a sharp weapon. At that time his three younger daughters were also present inside the house. After the incident, panic spread in the area and the police was informed.
Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for investigation. During the investigation, the police collected evidence from the house and interrogated the family members. From the beginning, husband Saqib’s statements seemed suspicious because he was constantly changing his statements. The police became increasingly suspicious of him.
Saqib had illicit relations with another woman
Investigation revealed that Saqib had illicit relations with another woman, which his wife opposed. For this reason, he conspired to remove his wife from the way. The accused brutally murdered his wife by slitting her throat with a paper cutter at night. After this he tried to portray this incident as murder after theft.
Not only this, he also taught one of his daughters that if the police asked, they should say that thieves had come to the house. The accused kept pretending to cry near his wife’s dead body so that no one would suspect him. But he broke down under strict police interrogation and confessed to his crime.
meerut City Superintendent of Police Vinayak Gopal Bhosle told in the press conference that the accused used to mentally torture his wife and wanted her to commit suicide. This incident has put relationships to shame. Now the biggest question is who will raise the three innocent daughters after the death of the mother and arrest of the father.
