ममता के साथ ‘खेला’ पूरा, निशाने पर उद्धव ठाकरे – अगला टार्गेट कौन? – mamata banerjee uddhav thackarey, ncpi matoshri meeting shiv sena mp ntcpmr
Along with Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, 20 Trinamool Congress MPs have joined NCPI (Nationalist Citizens Party of India). As it used to happen with Mamata Banerjee earlier, it is now happening with Uddhav Thackeray too. Uddhav Thackeray had called a meeting of his Lok Sabha MPs in Matoshree, but only 4 out of 9 MPs turned up. 5 remained missing, for which various excuses have also come forward.
Operation Lotus is considered to be the most infamous operation in the country’s politics. But like Corona virus, now many of its variants have also started emerging. New variants of Corona virus are being found less effective, but new variants of Operation Lotus are proving to be more dangerous.
One such popular name is being heard in Maharashtra, ‘Operation Tiger’, some initial symptoms of which are slowly beginning to emerge. The task of Operation ‘Khela’ has been completed in West Bengal, it remains to be seen who is the next target?
A new name has also emerged on social media, ‘Operation Delimitation’. Interestingly, this name seems to cover all variants. The big question is who is the next target?
1. Operation ‘Khela’ completed
Mamata Banerjee Out of 28 Lok Sabha MPs of Trinamool Congress, 20 rebel MPs have announced to join NCPI. These MPs, after meeting Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, have also submitted the official letter of merger. Kakoli Ghosh, who leads the rebel TMC MPs, has also demanded separate seating arrangements in Parliament. Senior leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay is also included among the leaders of the rebel group.
Having suddenly got 20 MPs, NCPI too will not be happy for some time. Unless something else happens, it will be considered so. The case of NCPI is also no less interesting. Tripura The registered address of this political party is in Banipur area of Howrah district of West Bengal. The election symbol of NCPI, registered on January 20, 2023, is the nib of a pen. The party has also contested the Tripura Assembly elections once. Of the candidates that NCPI fielded in the Tripura elections, the nomination papers of four were rejected, and two of them, one got 536 votes and the other got 286 votes – but, after raining blessings, NCPI has now become the fifth largest party in the Lok Sabha and the second largest party in the NDA.
It is heard that there was a slight disagreement among the rebels. One group wanted to take over the real TMC by making a claim like Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. The other group wanted to leave everything and move ahead. Everyone knew that whatever was happening was only a temporary arrangement. In any case, do not get entangled in defection law, and membership has to be saved. Therefore, the general opinion was that everyone should find a new location together and wait for the right time for further strategy.
the question is that Trinamool Congress Why did the rebel MPs decide to join NCPI instead of taking over the party like Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar? In fact, this seems to be a safe path. There is no threat of any legal battle. Trinamool Congress remains in its place. At present it seems so. Because, the difficulty is that Mamata Banerjee would not understand what action should be taken against the MPs who have left Trinamool Congress, and where to appeal?
2. Fear of Operation ‘Tiger’
Even before the new ‘game’ in West Bengal ended, there was a strong discussion about ‘Operation Tiger’ in the political circles of Maharashtra for the last few days. It is discussed that Uddhav Thackeray Some leaders and MPs of Shiv Sena, which is a part of Shiv Sena, are in touch with the leaders of Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. However, fellow leaders of Deputy CM Eknath Shinde have completely rejected any discussion or attempt like ‘Operation Tiger’. Shiv Sena spokesperson Raju Waghmare said that no such campaign is going on, nor does his party have any interest in breaking anyone. Raju Waghmare says, there are no elections yet and the government already has full majority. Also, the MPs who have been pointed at are also claiming to be with Uddhav Thackeray.
Currently in Lok Sabha Shiv Sena (UBT) has 9 MPs, while Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has 7 MPs. Amidst the discussion of ‘Operation Tiger’, Uddhav Thackeray had called a meeting of his Lok Sabha MPs in Matoshree, and after what happened in the meeting, the matter of ‘Operation Tiger’ does not seem to be just a rumor.
All 9 Lok Sabha MPs were called in the emergency meeting called by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bala Saheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray on June 14 in Matoshree, Mumbai, but news has come that 5 MPs remained absent from the meeting. Only 4 MPs attended the meeting, while some claims and some excuses have come forward about the rest.
MP Anil Desai, who attended Matoshree’s meeting, said, we 4 MPs attended, and the other 5 people attended virtually… because they had some personal work. But, all the 9 MPs are united and are with the party… all the speculations are baseless.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Arvind Sawant said that many MPs could not reach the meeting due to emergency. Different types of emergencies have also been described. Arvind Sawant said, an MP’s child is unwell and is being treated in the hospital. One MP’s wife is also unwell… another MP’s daughter is getting married… everyone should understand these situations.
Of course the situations must be understood. In some reports, questions are also being raised on the claim of virtual meeting. There is a reason to raise questions. Medical emergency is a different matter, but if there is a wedding at someone’s house, then can’t the opportunity be taken to attend the emergency meeting called at such a delicate juncture of politics. According to the report, one person said that he missed his train or flight, and another had applied for ‘medical leave’.
Overall, whatever is being discussed is not without reason. The blazing fire may not be visible yet, but the smoke has already started rising.
3. Operation ‘Delimitation’
A senior journalist on social media has given a new name to the political turmoil going on from West Bengal to Maharashtra, Operation ‘Delimitation’. The reason for giving the name can also be understood. Whatever is happening, it is going to prove helpful for NDA in the monsoon session. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has already said that he is going to support NDA in the Parliament.
The BJP-led NDA government at the Center is preparing to bring the delimitation bill again in the monsoon session of Parliament. The 131st Constitution Amendment Bill brought by the government amid the assembly elections was defeated due to lack of required numbers. Now, if MPs from different parties come out in support of the NDA, and a two-thirds majority is gathered, then the Delimitation Bill will be passed – and, for this reason, a new name has been given, Operation ‘Delimitation’.
In the last Parliament session, 298 votes were cast in support of the amendment and delimitation bill in the law to give 33 percent reservation to women, while 230 votes were cast against it. With the support of 20 MPs, a possible number of NDA is believed to reach 312.
Now if the 5 MPs missing from Uddhav Thackeray’s meeting are also found, then this number can reach 317. But the magic number of two-thirds is still a long way off. Due to 3 seats being vacant, the strength of the House is 540, hence for two-third majority, only 360 members’ votes will be required instead of 362.
Whatever the situation, every eye is on who will be the next target of Operation ‘Delimitation’. The first threat is looming over DMK in Tamil Nadu, and considering the importance of the upcoming elections, it does not seem that Samajwadi Party should also be out of the scope. The picture is gradually going to become clear as to who is involved in the race to support the NDA.
