Hostel operators allege that another hostel operator Pushpraj Yadav is behind this attack. He says that there is competition going on in the hostel business in the area. It is alleged that this attack was carried out with the aim of not allowing them to do business. However, the police is investigating the entire matter.

After receiving information about the incident, Piplani police reached the spot. The police detained some people and took action against some accused under section 151 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS).

Regarding this matter, ACP Aditi Saxena says that after recording the detailed statements of the complainants, further action will be taken and FIR will be registered. At present the investigation of the case is going on. Police are investigating the incident on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence.
