What did PM Modi say?
While addressing the students, Prime Minister Modi said- ‘Friends paper leak is not a trivial topic. This causes immense pain to lakhs of students and their parents. He said that after the incidents of paper leak in the last two and a half months, the government has taken several steps and the culprits have been arrested and sent to jail.
He said that the biggest responsibility of the government was that one year of the students should not be wasted. Therefore, arrangements were made to conduct examinations of about 22 lakh students in the shortest possible time. The Prime Minister said that the results of the examination have also been released on the 19th and happy reports of successful students are coming out from across the country.
Fast track court and proposal of strict punishment
PM Modi said that ‘the government is not going to be satisfied with this much action only. He told that today he had instructed the concerned departments to create fast track courts for paper leak cases. The departments worked hard and prepared its draft late at night and submitted it to them.
The Prime Minister said that in this proposal, along with fast track court, a provision has been made for strict punishment for the culprits. This draft will be discussed in the cabinet on Friday and it will be finalized after the suggestions of the ministers. He said that the proceedings of the second week of Parliament are starting from Monday and the government will try to pass this bill in the House as soon as possible.
