The current Lok Sabha representation in Bihar is about 7.4 percent but after delimitation this percentage will increase to 8.6 percent. This means that the Lok Sabha seats of both the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will increase and overall there will be an increase of about 1.2 seats. This change will strengthen the political representation of Bihar and give a better share in proportion to the population.
