Amidst the ongoing fierce war with America, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has given a very aggressive and big statement in an interview. Araghchi challenged Washington and Tel Aviv, saying that Western countries “can neither threaten nor bribe Iran.”

He claimed that this great war has made the whole world realize that iran The real ‘nuclear bomb’ of Iran is its Strait of Hormuz, over which Iran has complete control. This interview has been recorded by Iranian documentary maker Javad Mogoi for the YouTube series ‘The Story of War’, which was released on Sunday.

In the interview, Foreign Minister Araghchi also revealed the terrible situation in the initial phase of the war, when the top leadership was completely disintegrated. He said, “In the first few days of the war, the situation was so bad that the top officials of the government and the army had completely lost touch with each other. All communication channels were at a standstill. We were all badly scared and were just trying to find out which of our comrades and leaders were left alive and who had been killed.”

‘Our uranium is not for sale’
Araghchi said that he was able to meet President Massoud Pezeshkian for the first time three days after the war started. He then met with other senior leaders, including veteran Iranian politician Ali Larijani, who was later killed in an Israeli airstrike.

Referring to the ceasefire talks that took place before this fierce war that lasted for 12 days, the Foreign Minister made a big revelation. He said that many international envoys had tried to ‘bribe’ and entice Iran during the talks so that Iran would stop its nuclear program. Araghchi said, “Iran’s uranium enrichment is not for sale. We have endured decades of economic sanctions for this and our nuclear scientists have sacrificed their lives.”

‘Iran has emerged stronger from this war’
Araghchi also indirectly responded to the ongoing internal political turmoil within Iran and the allegations of radicals calling themselves ‘traitors’. He made it clear that despite the fierce war and ceasefire, there has been “no change” in Iran’s policies or its basic principles.
