The weather has taken a turn in the states of North India including the national capital Delhi-NCR. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather has changed due to Western Disturbance. Strong winds ranging from 70 to 120 kilometers per hour were also seen in Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. At the same time, clouds of dust flew at some places and then it rained heavily.

How will the weather be in Delhi today?
There is a possibility of rain in Delhi today i.e. on 12th June. After noon, strong winds will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain and drizzle at some places. Minimum in Delhi today temperature 24 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can remain up to 35 degrees Celsius.

Where has the monsoon reached?
After reaching Kerala on June 4, 2026, Southwest Monsoon has now reached Karnataka, Telangana and some more parts of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, South-West Bay of Bengal, West-Central and North-West Bay of Bengal, West Bengal and some parts of Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, favorable conditions remain for further advance of the south-west monsoon in the next 2-3 days.

When will monsoon arrive in Delhi-NCR?
According to IMD, monsoon may reach Delhi and NCR between June 25 and 30. The rain that is happening now is pre-monsoon activity. The real monsoon rains are likely to start in the last week of June.
