A case of gym jihad has come to light from Surat city of Gujarat. In this, SOG police has arrested a Muslim gym trainer Shabbir Asgar Trunkwala for the crime of blackmailing a woman from a reputed Hindu family who went to work out in the gym. A woman from a billionaire family in Surat used to go to a gym in Citylight area to exercise. A person named Sabbir Azgar Trunkwala, working as a gym trainer there, lured the woman with his words and trapped her in his love trap. This young man was in contact with the woman for the last seven years. However, when the woman’s husband saw his marital life falling apart, he contacted a gym trainer.
During the last seven months, he had also talked to the gym trainer, but now he had resorted to blackmailing. Accused Sabbir had taken some personal photographs with the woman. After this, he started disrupting the married life of the woman and started blackmailing her by threatening to make the photo viral.
When the woman’s husband spoke to Sabbir, he threatened to make public the photographs taken with the woman. In return for not making these pictures viral, he demanded Rs 5 lakh from the woman’s husband and also threatened to kill her. Meanwhile, the woman’s husband saw the news of a meeting held by SOG police with gym trainers some time ago. After this he immediately contacted SOG police.
The police became alert as soon as the woman’s husband lodged a complaint at Pal police station. Surat SOG police took immediate action and arrested the accused Sabbir Azgar Trunkwala. The woman’s husband had repeatedly met gym trainer Sabbir and requested him not to make the woman’s pictures viral. Despite this, the gym trainer once broke the glass of his own moped and placed it on the woman’s husband’s neck and threatened to kill him and demanded Rs 5 lakh.
Considering the seriousness of the entire incident, SOG police has arrested the accused and started legal proceedings. DCP Rajdeep Singh Nakum of SOG team of Surat Police told the media that just a few days ago, SOG had called a meeting of gym trainers and operators and they were warned that whatever trainer you appoint, you must get their character verification done and only then hire them.
Also, there were instructions for the persons working as trainers not to have any kind of contact with the women coming to the gym. He told that his wife used to go to ‘Pooja L1 Gym’ in Satellite area about seven years ago. There was a man named Shabbir Asgar Trunkwala, with whom his wife had an affair. Shabbir is now not ready to leave his wife.
According to the victim, the accused met him and threatened that ‘I will not leave your wife’ and ‘I have some objectionable photos and videos of your wife, which I will make viral. If you did not give me Rs 5 lakh.
