It is alleged that the aim of the girls was to make the shopkeeper helpless and run away with the jewellery. But here there was a twist in the story. Despite pepper spray, the shopkeeper did not lose courage. He immediately realized the situation and locked both the girls inside the shop. After this he started making noise.
Hearing the voice of the shopkeeper, the people nearby reached the spot. Within no time a crowd gathered there. During this time people caught both the girls. In the video that has surfaced, it is seen that the anger of the crowd also erupted. A woman grabbed a girl by her hair, threw her on the ground and beat her. Later other people also surrounded both of them.
The police started interrogating both of them after saving them from the crowd.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Digha police station reached the spot. The police rescued both the girls from the clutches of the crowd and took them into custody. At present he is being interrogated. The police is also trying to find out whether both of them are part of a big gang or whether they had come for the first time to commit such an incident.
Shop owner Rajesh Kumar says that a girl attacked him with spray, he ran away and raised an alarm. Then information about the matter was given to the police.
