A tragic case has come to light from Asifabad area of Telangana, where a 16-year-old student allegedly tried to commit suicide and jumped into a well. However, the police and fire team rescued the girl in time and took her out of the well safely.
According to the information, this incident took place on May 20, 2026 at around 2 pm. The girl has been identified as Raisidam Satvika, who is said to be Pochiram’s daughter. She belongs to ST (Pardhan) community and is an intermediate student.
It was told that Satvika lives with her family in Sandeep Nagar area of Asifabad. Her family members had scolded her for not taking bath, due to which she reportedly became very upset. Angered by this, he jumped into the Bazarwadi well located near his house. There was chaos in the area after the incident.
Local people immediately informed the police about the matter on dial-100. As soon as the information was received, Asifabad police reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Without wasting any time, the police took the help of the fire station staff so that the girl could be taken out safely.
During the rescue operation, the fire department team carefully lowered the girl into the well and took her out. The matter of relief was that he was saved in time. After this, he was immediately admitted to Asifabad Government Hospital for treatment, where his treatment is continuing.
Giving information about this entire matter, Station House Officer P. Balaji Vara Prasad said that the police had received information from the local people, after which immediate action was taken. Due to the alertness of the police and fire department, the student’s life could be saved. At present the police is investigating the entire matter.
