This one short line and video immediately reminded people of that 16-year-old film, in which a very down-to-earth and sharp satire was made on rising inflation, rural distress, media farces and politics in the country.
Social media users started trolling
As soon as this post appeared on the internet, there was a flood of political reactions in the online world. Users started trolling Aamir Khan by directly linking this issue to today’s government and investigating agencies. One user sarcastically wrote, ‘Khan’ and he is also talking about the real issues of the country? Now get ready for boycott and ED raids.
The post had to be deleted as the controversy escalated.
