At the same time, according to IRGC, a total of 26 ships have passed through Hormud in the last 24 hours, which include oil tankers and cargo ships. Iran has created a new regulatory body called the Persian Gulf Strait Authority for ships passing through Hormuz, under which all ships will now be required to obtain permission from Iran.
