UP News: Police has made a sensational revelation in the famous Adeela Rehman murder case of Moradabad. LLB student Adeela Rehman was murdered in the same THAR car which she had gifted to her husband after marriage. According to the police, the accused shot Adeela with a pistol at her temple inside the car on the Moradabad-Lucknow-Delhi National Highway. After this, the body was taken to Roorkee in Uttarakhand and thrown in the canal.
Police investigation revealed that both of them had got married in Ajmer in the month of April, but Adeela’s family was not aware of this marriage.
Dead body thrown in Roorkee canal
After the murder, the accused took the body to Roorkee, where it was thrown in the canal. After this, he parked the Thar car at home and the next day he reached the court and surrendered in a case of murder registered in Ganj police station of Rampur, so that he could keep himself away from suspicion.
Roorkee Police found the body of the girl from the canal on July 4. Due to lack of identification, the police cremated the body. Later Moradabad Based on police investigation, technical evidence and interrogation, the body was identified as Adeela Rehman.
When Adeela hit her with a slipper, she committed murder.
During police interrogation, the accused told that there was an argument between the two in the car and during the argument, Adeela hit the accused with her slippers, after which he committed the murder.
The student had left home to take the exam
Adeela Rehman was the daughter of businessman Adiv-ur-Rehman, resident of Kohinoor Tiraha, Katghar and was studying LLB in Hyderabad. She had left the house saying that she would take the exam on 25th June. After this his family could not contact him. After a lot of searching, his mother lodged a missing complaint at Katghar police station on July 18.

CSP Kumar Ranvijay Singh said that a case of kidnapping and murder has been registered against Katghar’s history-sheeter Qurban Ali and his brother Gulfam Ali. Police are carrying forward the investigation on the basis of CCTV footage, mobile location, Thar vehicle and other forensic evidence.
According to the police, accused Gulfam Ali is currently lodged in Rampur District Jail. Other evidence is being collected in the case and after the completion of the investigation, strict legal action will be taken against the accused.
