An incident in Nigeria has raised similar questions, when there was a massive explosion in the engine of a passenger plane flying hundreds of feet in the air and the engine of the plane was badly damaged.
This incident happened on Wednesday when the plane was on a flight from one city to another in the country and was preparing to land. There were about 80 passengers on board the plane. According to eyewitnesses, suddenly a loud noise was heard and within a few moments the passengers saw that one of the engines of the plane had burst. Many passengers started screaming out of fear and started recording this entire incident on their cameras.

It was told that despite the engine being damaged, the plane continued to fly with the help of the other engine. Taking immediate decision, the crew changed the course of the plane and made a safe emergency landing in a nearby city.
It is a matter of relief that the plane landed safely and no passengers were hurt. However, the plane suffered heavy damage. Passengers told that a few moments before the explosion, a loud noise came from the left side of the plane and after that the condition of the engine appeared to be bad.
The airline company and the security investigation agency have accepted the incident and said that investigation has been started to find out the reasons. An initial investigation team will examine the plane, collect evidence and interview the crew and passengers.
Along with this, flight related records and data of instruments related to cockpit sound will also be scrutinized. The airline has also apologized to the affected passengers and said that it is sorry for the inconvenience caused to their travel.
