Union Public Service Commission has issued a clarification on the confusion spreading regarding 301st rank in the result of Civil Services Examination 2025. Recently, it was being claimed in some news and social media that two candidates with the same name have claimed to get 301st rank, which had created confusion among the candidates.
Issuing an official statement on this matter, the Commission clarified that as per its records, only one candidate has got the 301st rank in the Civil Services Main Examination 2025. The Commission has also shared the verified information of the candidate so that there is no misunderstanding.
According to the Commission, the name of the candidate who got 301st rank is Akanksha Singh and her roll number is 0856794. His father’s name is Ranjit Singh and mother’s name is Neelam Singh.
The Commission also informed that Akanksha Singh is a resident of Abhaipur village in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. The Commission said that all these details match with its official records and this confirms that the candidate who got 301st rank in the Civil Services Examination 2025 is the same.
