Actually, actor Raju Shrestha, known as Master Raju, recently shared an incident related to the film ‘Bawarchi’. In this film, she worked as a child artist and was also accompanied by Rajesh Khanna. While talking to Siddharth Kannan, Raju said that this incident is very old, hence he does not remember the entire incident clearly, but he remembers that the shooting had to be stopped due to the argument. According to him, the fight took place over Amitabh Bachchan. Jaya ji was a good friend of Amitabh ji and at that time Amitabh was also close to Hrishikesh Mukherjee and was doing films with him. Rajesh Khanna had a problem with this. Raju said that Rajesh Khanna had said something against Amit ji to Jaya ji on the set, due to which Jaya ji got upset. He had said, “Where are you making friends with him? What is going to happen to him? I am Rajesh Khanna.” Something happened, and the shooting was stopped for some time. There was some conversation, and Jaya ji went to the make-up room. Let us tell you that Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Zanjeer’ was released in 1973. After this, films like ‘Sholay’, ‘Deewar’ and ‘Namak Haram’ made Amitabh the biggest superstar of that time and gradually the trend of stardom turned from Rajesh Khanna towards Amitabh Bachchan. Raju also told that Akshay Kumar had once reached Rajesh Khanna’s house. At that time Rajesh Khanna was present in his room upstairs in the house. According to Raju, when someone told him that Akshay Kumar had come to meet him, Rajesh Khanna reportedly said, “I am his father-in-law, he is not my father-in-law. He will come to me. Why should I go?”
