New Delhi: Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah On Friday, he came out strongly in support of his Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee Regarding transfers of EC officials in poll-bound Bengal, it said, “This massive transfer only happens in non-BJP-ruled states”.“Bangla will once again prove that officers don’t win elections for political parties; political party members do,” he said, reacting to Mamata’s post on X saying that the way the EC has “singled out and targeted Bangladesh is not only unprecedented but deeply worrisome”.Omar said, “No effort by the EC will change the result. The day of reckoning will come, Mamata will get a huge majority.”Highlighting that parties have come forward to support Mamata, TMC shared a video clip of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav saying, “I want to congratulate Mamata in advance and say that the people of Bengal will vote for her.” He ‘conspired’ under its leadership BJP To defeat him, there will be no work, including the recent transfer of officials. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal also posted, “BJP has made EC its weapon to win election by cheating. What is happening today in Bengal, same happened in Delhi election.” Sanjay Raut of Sena UBT said on X “It is not only difficult to defeat Mamata Didi in Bengal, it is impossible! So BJP is playing dirty by hiding behind the shield of EC”.
