About 400 and a half years ago, the Pashtun Babi dynasty reached Gujarat with the Mughal ruler Humayun. This was the royal family of Afghanistan, which became an important part of the Mughal Empire and ruled many principalities. As Mughal power weakened, a war broke out between the Babi and the Marathas (Gaekwad dynasty), in which the Marathas captured most of Gujarat, but the Babi continued to rule over Junagadh, Radhanpur and Balasinor. After the contract, Ishara got busy with other films and almost forgot this thing. During this time, Parveen Babi attended the fashion show of Kaliko Dome in September 1971, where her co-worker model Mamta Sahu recommended her to her director father Kishore Sahu. Kishore Sahu met Parveen and finalized her for the film Dhuane Ki Lakir. Then he came to know about B.R.Ishara’s contract. Kishore Sahu immediately called him and said that I want to make a film with the heroine with whom you have a contract. Hearing the name of Parveen Babi, he again remembered that girl. But there was a delay in the making of his film, so he canceled the contract and allowed Parveen to do that film. A few months passed. B.R.Ishara had reached Rajkamal Studio in Mumbai for the mixing of a film. He was sitting on the stairs smoking a cigarette when suddenly Parveen came and sat right next to him. He neither asked about my condition nor talked about anything else, he simply said – Why don’t you make a film with me. B.R.Ishara was surrounded by this question. The same question was in his mind as to why he was not making a film with Parveen. As soon as he returned home, he called his photographer and asked him to raise money for making the film. One day Denny, his girlfriend and Parveen were having dinner at the dining table. The silver fell on the work table and Denny tried to remove it by blowing on it. As soon as she blew, Parveen got extremely scared and started screaming. Then Denny realized for the first time that Parveen’s mental condition was actually not good. He called Mahesh Bhatt and informed him about this, then Mahesh told him the whole story. Denny was also helping Parveen fight this disease. Then one day an interview of Amitabh Bachchan was published in the newspaper, in which he called Denny a good friend.
