Salman Khan’s father and veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan has been shifted to ventilator. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday morning.
According to the Filmfare report, Salim Khan was brought to the hospital after complaining of nervousness and high blood pressure. Later, it was reported that there was a blood clot and bleeding in the brain. He will be operated today.
However, the reason for his hospitalization has not been revealed. Medical bulletin will be issued after permission from the family at 11 am.

After Salim Khan’s health deteriorated, Salman Khan left the shooting and reached the hospital on Tuesday. At the same time, Sanjay Dutt and Javed Akhtar also reached the hospital.
Was brought to emergency on Tuesday morning
The hospital administration had told that Salim Khan was brought to the emergency at 8:30 am on Tuesday. A team of doctors has been formed for his treatment. This includes neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange and Dr. Bineet Ahluwalia.

Salim Khan is 90 years old. He was born on 24 November 1935. . He is counted among the veteran scriptwriters of Hindi cinema.
Salim Khan started his career with acting. His career started in the 1960s with the film Baaraat, but he got only limited and small roles in films.
After working in about two dozen films, he realized that acting was not his real strength. After this he turned to writing and became a scriptwriter.
In his early days of acting, Salim Khan used the name ‘Prince Salim’.
‘Salim-Javed’ duo became famous
The pair of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar has been famous by the name of ‘Salim-Javed’. Together they gave many superhit and memorable films to Hindi cinema, like Zanjeer, Deewaar, Sholay, Don and Sita Aur Geeta. The powerful stories and dialogues of these films settled in the hearts of people.

Salim Khan married twice
Talking about personal life, Salim Khan married twice. His first marriage was to Salma Khan (formerly Sushila Charak) on 18 November 1964. From this marriage he had four children, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Alvira Khan.
Later in 1981, Salim Khan married actress Helen Richardson. After a few years, Salim Khan and Helen adopted Arpita.
