Firing was done at Rohit Shetty’s building in Mumbai on the night of 31 January.
On January 31, five rounds of firing took place at the house of filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Mumbai. In this case, Mumbai Crime Branch and Bahadurgarh Special Task Force (STF) of Jhajjar, Haryana have arrested four accused from Bahadurgarh, Haryana in a joint operation. Preparations are underway to bring all four accused to Mumbai.
Haryana STF SP Vikrant Bhushan said that after the firing incident at Rohit Shetty’s house in Mumbai, the Anti-Extortion Cell of Mumbai Police had contacted him. After this, Haryana STF and Mumbai Police together arrested four accused from Bahadurgarh, namely Hrithik Yadav, Deepak, Sunny and Sonu. All are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
He further told that Deepak was the main shooter, who was in touch with Hari Boxer and Arzoo who were sitting abroad. He was the one who opened fire at Rohit Shetty’s house. At the same time, his friends Sunny and Sonu had done Reiki outside the house. Accused Hrithik helped Deepak and his associates to hide.
A case has been registered against all under Section 109 of BNS, Section 37(1), 37(2) and 3 of MPA, 25 Arms Act. Till now, around 11 people have been arrested in the Rohit Shetty firing case. At present, further investigation of the case is going on.

Earlier, on February 5, Mumbai Police had arrested the accused Asaram Fasale, who was working as a garage mechanic for the last four years and was associated with the Lawrence gang. He used to supply weapons on the instructions of gang mastermind Shubham Lonkar.

Late night on 31 January, five rounds were fired at Rohit Shetty’s building. According to the police, the attackers opened fire on the first floor of a nine-storey building located in Juhu area of Mumbai at around 12.45 am. He had said that at least five rounds of bullets were fired, one of which hit the glass of the gym in the building.
At the same time, India Today had shared a screenshot in its report and claimed that Lawrence Gang has taken responsibility for the attack. This screenshot is of a Facebook post of an account named Shubham Lonkar Arzoo.
It is written in this post, ‘To all the brothers, we Shubham Lonkar, Arju, Hari Boxer, Harman Sandhu take responsibility for the firing that took place today at the house of film director Rohit Shetty in Mumbai (Shetty Tower). We messaged him many times asking him not to interfere in our work, but he did not understand. This small trailer has been given to it. If he doesn’t understand and listen to us again, then now instead of outside the house, he will be shot inside his bedroom, on his chest.

It was further written in the same post, ‘And further there is a warning to Bollywood to improve in time, otherwise the situation will be very bad. Your Baba will suffer worse than Siddiqui. All the people whom we have called, either come on the line on time, otherwise there will be less places to hide. And all our enemies, be prepared, we will meet you soon. Note- There was only one, there is only one and there will always be only one Lawrence Gang.
Ranveer Singh received threat on 10th February
Ranveer Singh had received death threats on Tuesday, February 10. This threat was given through a voice note sent on WhatsApp, in which the accused demanded a ransom of crores of rupees. Ranveer Singh-Rohit Shetty got threat again
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty received a threat through an audio clip on Friday. Police said that the sender identified himself as Hari Boxer, a member of the Lawrence Gang. Ranveer Singh received threat for the second time in a week.
This threatening audio clip went viral on many social media platforms, after which Mumbai Police started investigation in the matter.
