New Delhi: Gautam Hari Singhania, chairman and managing director of the Raymond Group, suffered minor injuries after a speedboat carrying tourists capsized in the Maldives early on Friday, while two Indian men, including driver Hari Singh, are feared missing and a search operation is underway.Singhania was among the seven aboard the ship that capsized off V Felidhu. He has since been rescued and brought back to Mumbai, where he is recuperating, his spokesperson confirmed.“Gautam Singhania sustained minor injuries following an unfortunate accident. He is recovering under proper care in Mumbai,” the spokesperson said.“We thank you for the well wishes and pray for the recovery of the affected friends,” the spokesperson added.According to reports from Maldives, the speedboat was carrying five Indian men along with two women from the UK and Russia. Police said five people, including a Russian woman and four Indian men, were floating in the sea.Among the missing are two Indian nationals, including rally driver Hari Singh, efforts are on to trace them.Authorities have launched a search operation in the area as the investigation into the incident continues.
