Rajsamand: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited Rajasthan’s famous Srinathji temple on Sunday MahashivratriWhere he performs traditional rituals and seeks blessings for the people. Speaking to ANI, Rekha Gupta expressed, “Today on the occasion of Mahashivratri, I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to pray to Lord Srinathji. I am filled with a deep sense of peace and joy. This land of Rajasthan is a land of rich traditions, courage and sacrifice. After receiving the Lord’s blessings I extend my heart’s blessings to all the residents. Here’s to their endless love and support.” I also want to assure the Rajasthani families living in Delhi that I will always be connected to them and stand by them in every ups and downs.”On this occasion, Rekha Gupta participated in traditional rituals inside the temple and received a ceremonial scarf as a blessing from the temple priests.On Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta along with Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh unveiled the statue of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Boliram Hedgewar at Hedgewar Arogya Sanstha in Shahdara.Talking to reporters after unveiling the statue, the Chief Minister said that the hospital has been providing healthcare for 27-28 years and the state government will expand it in future with modern equipment.“It is a proud moment. This hospital has been providing healthcare to people for 27-28 years. The installation of Dr. Hedgewar’s statue by the government, on the occasion of 100 years of RSS, is an inspiration to all of us. We will expand this hospital in future, bringing in state-of-the-art equipment,” said CM Gupta.Keshav Boliram Hedgewar, commonly called “Doctor Sahib”, headed the organization for fifteen years until his death in 1940. Before his death, he anointed Guruji MS Golwalkar as his successor, who spread the RSS to every corner of India for the next three decades. Hedgewar, born on April 1, 1889 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, served as the founder and first Sarsanghachalak (chief) of the RSS.
