Preparations begin for hoisting flags atop 6 sub-temples in Ram Janmabhoomi complex | India News
Ayodhya (UP): After hoisting the flag at the main pinnacle of the Ram temple and other main shrines in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, preparations for similar ceremonies have begun at the remaining six sub-temples, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust said.After a meeting held on Saturday, Trust general secretary Champat Rai shared that the temples where the flag will be hoisted are dedicated to Surya, Bhagwati, Shivalinga, Ganapati, Seshavtar and Hanuman.Rai said the flag hoisting ceremony of the Hanuman temple will be held on Hanuman Jayanti, which falls on April 2 this year.The ceremonies in five other sub-temples will be conducted over eight days — March 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 and 31 — alternately, he added.He emphasized that these events will be held without large public gatherings, with participation limited to a small number of participants. Each event will be attended by approximately 50 spectators and approximately 200 people, including engineers and staff involved in the project.The trust also noted that the first hoisting of the flag on the main pillar was conducted by the Prime Minister on November 25, 2025.
