The responsibility of writing and directing the film has been entrusted to Farhad Samji. Earlier the makers wanted to make this sequel with director David Dhawan, but he did not want to remake any of his old films after ‘Judwaa’ and ‘Coolie No. 1’. In such a situation, Farhad Samji has joined this project. The makers plan to start casting by March 2026. Hoping to recreate the magic of the original film, the makers will cast two top actors of today’s generation for the sequel and hope to recreate the magic of the original film.
