Pm Narendra Modi Attacks Mamata: ‘Pot of sins now full’: PM Modi attacks TMC’s ‘Nirmam sarkar’ at Asansol rally | India News
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday said a political change in West Bengal is now certain, claiming that people across the state are demanding it.Targeting Ray Trinamool Congress “The TMC’s pot of sins is now full,” he said at an election rally in Asansol.
The Prime Minister accused the Trinamool government of allowing illegal activities in the region. Referring to Asansol’s coal belt, he said, “Asansol is a major part of the coal belt, but under TMC rule, the entire sector is controlled by a Syndicate Raj, including the coal and sand mafia.”The Prime Minister said that the elections are not only for changing the government but also for restoring the industrial strength of the region. “This election is to get rid of mafia rule, and only a BJP government can accomplish that,” he said.“After May 4, the ‘nirmam sarkar’ (insensitive government) will go. A BJP government will solve every problem in the region,” the prime minister claimed. The Prime Minister also said that the Hindus of Bengal are being intimidated in the name of a particular community. “There was a time when Hindus were threatened with genocide by issuing red posters. Today, the TMC is doing exactly the same; once again, Hindus are being terrorized in the name of a particular community. The people of Bengal want their land protected, their faith protected, their livelihood protected, and the future of their children protected. And that is why 23rd April will be the moment of future decision. I assure you: BJP has secured India’s western border, and BJP will secure India’s eastern border,” he said.Highlighting the development plan, he claimed that investment in the once-thriving industrial region had declined and said only a “double-engine government” could reverse the situation. The Prime Minister also said that the Center has allocated funds for the revival of industries in Asansol, adding that despite the state government’s “obstacles”, the BJP has contributed to the development of the region.Prime Minister Modi also expressed concern about the safety of women in the state. He said, “Bangla is a country of power worship, but under the present ‘brutal government’, the condition of Bengal has deteriorated.”“Incidents like RG Kar and the horrific scenes in Sandeshkhali reflect this. The TMC has often been seen openly standing in support of criminals,” he claimed, referring to recent incidents.
