Non-bailable warrant issued against Ameesha in check bounce case: Actress said – the matter has already been resolved, I will take legal action
After Rajpal Yadav in the check bounce case, now the troubles of actress Ameesha Patel also seem to be increasing. According to media reports, Moradabad court has issued a non-bailable warrant against him in a case related to an event controversy of 2017. However, now the actress has reacted to these news. Responding to this matter, Ameesha Patel shared a note on her Instagram. He wrote, there are reports in the media regarding some action taken by Pawan Verma in Moradabad. I want to tell everyone that this is a very old case, in which Pawan Verma had signed the settlement letter years ago and had received the entire agreed amount. He further said, despite this they have started the case again by making false allegations. My lawyer will file a case of fraud against him so that the truth can come out. Instead of paying attention to these things, I want to focus on my work and will ignore such people who try to get publicity by lying. Know what is the whole matter? According to Free Press Journal, this complaint against Ameesha Patel has been made by Moradabad’s event organizer Pawan Verma. He says that on 16 November 2017, Ameesha was called to perform at a wedding in Moradabad. For this, ₹ 14.50 lakh advance was given and hotel accommodation was also arranged. But she did not attend the programme. The organizer alleges that later during the conversation he assured to return the entire amount. Rs 10 lakh was returned in cash, but a check of Rs 4.50 lakh given later bounced. As the dispute over payment escalated, he approached the court for legal action. Despite repeated summons being issued by the court of Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division), Moradabad, Ameesha did not appear, following which the court issued a non-bailable warrant to ensure her presence. Now this matter will be heard on March 27.
