At the time of return, Orion will enter the Earth’s atmosphere at a speed of 40 thousand kilometers per hour.

Why is this launch important?

This launch is historic because for the first time after Apollo 17, humans are going so close to the moon. This mission is the real beginning of the Artemis program. after its success NASA Artemis 3 will land humans on the Moon and will later prepare to build a permanent base on the Moon. This mission will also lay the foundation for future missions to Mars. Also, it will attract the young generation towards space science.
