Monalisa Bhosle, who came into limelight at Prayagraj’s Kumbh Mela, on Tuesday accused director Sanoj Mishra of inappropriate touching and mental harassment during the film ‘The Diary of Manipur’. She said that she and her husband were receiving death threats, so they have sought protection from the Central, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh governments.

Asked for security from Central, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh government Monalisa sought help from the Central Government along with the Government of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh. She said that she and her husband were receiving death threats. Monalisa said that her posters are being burnt. Also some people are continuously threatening him. He also said that the director is spreading wrong things about him and said that he will not give him work in his films. She said that she does not want to work with such a person.

Appeal not to make false allegations against husband

Monalisa appealed to the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments not to make false allegations against her husband regarding marriage. He said that both of them got married as per Hindu customs in the temple.

She alleged that the director is calling her marriage ‘love jihad’ and trying to spread tension in the society. Monalisa expressed respect for all religions.

Monalisa said that if any attempt was made to separate her from her husband, both of them would commit suicide.

Husband Farman also made serious allegations

At the same time, Monalisa’s husband Farman also alleged that the director is calling him a ‘terrorist’. He said that allegations are being leveled against him because he was born in a Muslim family and his name is Farman Khan.

Farman said that he believes in Sree Narayana Guru and they got married in one of his temples. Monalisa became emotional during the press conference and reiterated that she might commit suicide if she did not get security.

Both of them recently got married in Kerala, because Monalisa’s family did not accept this relationship. He had reached Thiruvananthapuram in connection with the film shoot.

Monalisa, a resident of Indore, came into limelight last year after a video of her selling Rudraksha beads at the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela went viral.
