Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar on Thursday spoke to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and apprised him about the ongoing conflict in West Asia. “We value our special strategic partnership with India, the world’s largest democracy,” he said at X. Sa’ar said he had briefed the Indian minister on the progress of Israeli operations against Iran. “I said that the (Iranian) regime is carrying out naval terrorism in the Strait of Hormuz. This is not an American or Israeli issue, it is a fundamental problem affecting the world economy. If this serious incident is not addressed now, it can spread globally.”
