Read what Rannvijay said about youth, fitness and lifestyle… What are your plans in the future? – My children are still small, so I want to make time for them. There was a lot of hustle and bustle in one phase of my career, but now I plan to do selective work till my children grow up. The focus is on quality of work more than quantity. How should youth balance themselves between reel and real life? Whatever the youth does, he does it considering his family, elders and society. Whatever example we give them, they will follow the same in future. It is important for the youth to understand their own self-worth. Live for yourself, not for anyone else. You were quite overweight, then how did you fix it? – During a fitness session in a school, the child said that you are fit, so it is easy to talk about fitness. I took it as a challenge. At the age of 39, he gained weight from 83 kg to 108 kg. Then by following workout and proper nutrition routine, I got myself back fit in 9 months. How much help did you get in life because of your military family background? Being from a military background has proved to be an added advantage for me. Because of this, discipline, punctuality and adjusting to every situation have been a part of my life. Papa was posted in big and small military cantonments of the country, due to which I completed my education from 9 different schools. Because of this, I got to see the whole of India closely, made friends everywhere and got to learn something from every city. According to you, what is the importance of sports and fitness in life? – Sports is the mantra of my life. Sports teaches discipline and strategy, keeps one motivated, enables one to take challenges and gives a positive frame of mind. Fitness is a by-product of lifestyle. With an active lifestyle and mindful eating, your mind and body can be taken care of at every age.
