Once the truth is established in a court of law, Shri Pawan Khera will face the consequences of his actions, and the law will take its due course,” Sarma wrote in X.He also claimed that property documents used to link his family to the Dubai apartment were stolen from document-sharing platform Scribd, identifying the real owners as “Md Ahmad and Fatima Sulaiman”.
Himanta’s wife hits back
Rinikki Bhuyan Sharma has denied all allegations, telling X: “I, my children or my husband have no business interests or assets anywhere outside Dubai or India.”He also took a swipe at Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi, who called for a further probe into the matter. Gogoi called the chief minister “embarrassing” who “must answer questions and pay for his crimes.”In response to Gogoi, Sharma questioned whether his wife “has or has a bank account in Pakistan” and challenged him to reveal those details.
Sarma flag document inconsistency
Sarma pointed out multiple discrepancies in the indictment documents, including surname mismatches, a publicly available photograph instead of biometric capture and spelling errors such as “Egyptian”.He also flagged documents linking him to the Dubai apartment and called all allegations #CongFakeAICampaign. The incremental exchange comes just days before polls in Assam, scheduled for April 9 across 126 constituencies, are counted on May 4.
