Our agencies are working on it,” he said, as quoted by news agency PTI.Mahal reiterated to wait for the final report before passing any judgment. “Once the final report is finalized, it will only be reasonable to comment on it,” he added, stressing the need to trust India’s own investigative agencies rather than foreign media reports.It comes after an Italian media report blamed the pilots for the crash.The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) also stepped in on Thursday to clarify the situation. They insist that the investigation is still ongoing. The AAIB has termed the media reports as “false and speculative”, demanding closure of the probe.The devastating accident occurred when an Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft, bound for London Gatwick, crashed shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad on June 12 last year. The crash killed 241 passengers and 19 passengers, making it India’s worst air disaster.
