UPSC CSE 2025 Final Result, Anuj Agnihotri tops exam; 958 is recommended for IAS, IFS, IPS and Central Services

UPSC has announced the final result of Civil Services Examination 2025, recommending 958 candidates for recruitment to IAS, IFS, IPS and various Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Central Services. The total vacancies for the examination stand at 1,087 posts in various categories and the commission has also prepared a reserved list of 258 candidates. Sukhoi Su-30MKI crash: The IAF pilot who died in the tragedy participated in Operation Sindur

Flight Lt. Purvesh Duragkar, one of the two pilots killed in an Su-30MKI crash in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district, was part of Operation Sindur. The Air Force confirmed that Flt Lt Duragkar and Squadron Leader Anuj were fatally injured during training after the aircraft lost radar contact after taking off from Jorhat. Speaking to reporters, Purvesh’s father, Ravindra Duragkar, remembered him as a dedicated officer who took great pride in flying.
