CPRG to host multiple events at India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi; focus on AI in education, employability, and data governance | India News
The Center of Policy Research and Governance (CPRG), as part of its Future of Society initiative, will host a series of keynote summits and official dialogues scheduled from February 16 to 20 across multiple venues in New Delhi during the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Sessions will focus on the implications of artificial intelligence for education, employment, data governance and institutional transformation.On February 16, CPRG will host two sessions at Bharat Mandapam: The Future of Employment in the Age of AI, and AI for Education: Future-Ready Universities and Schools, organized with AI4India. On February 17, PadhaI Conclave 2.0: Reshaping the Indian Education System will be held at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre. February 18 will see Data for Development: Building AI in the Global South at Bharat Mandapam and the final session, Reimagining Education in the Age of AI, will be held on February 20 at Sushma Swaraj Bhavan.
Ahead of the summit, CPRG Director Dr. Ramanand said, “This summit comes at an important juncture. The discussion around AI is no longer limited to panels and reports. It is already reflected in the way institutions are working,” adding “The task now is to examine how these steps are being structured and what frameworks will take us forward with these questions at CPR Week. At the center of the discussion.” Participants include senior ministers, policy makers, international experts and industry leaders. They include Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & IT, Shri Ashish Sood, Minister of Education, Delhi, Shri Nishikant Dubey, Member of Parliament, Ms. Anne Neuberger, former US Deputy National Security Advisor; Mr Johan Harvard, Tony Blair Institute; and Dr. And. Balasubramaniam, Capacity Building Commission.Industry representatives included Shri Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Founder of InfoEdge and Shri Gokul Subramaniam, President of Intel India.
