Tamil Nadu And criticized DMK leaders for showing a lack of “fundamental respect” for the National Party, which he said had created friction within the ruling coalition.He added, “DMK is in deep panic after seeing TVK’s field reports and polls. That is why they are desperately trying to get someone into their alliance, even a party like DMDK, which no one expected to touch them.”Targeting the BJP, the TVK leader slammed its “religion-based politics”, specifically referring to Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Tiruparkundam. He warned against attempts to turn peaceful temples into “contentious areas like Ayodhya” and criticized the DMK government for inaction. “Stalin, who holds the law and order portfolio, should have at least issued an advisory to the Prime Minister’s office or gone to court to prevent this unnecessary controversy. The DMK is deliberately allowing this to happen to take up religious politics themselves later,” he alleged.About TVK’s election plans, Kumar said the party has completed preparatory workshops across all 234 assembly constituencies.
