Bedi Hanuman Temple: The temple of Lord Jagannath located in Puri, Odisha is considered one of the Char Dham. But whenever Hanuman heard hymns in the name of Ram or heard the sound of his kirtan, he would leave the guard and go to that place. In such a situation, as soon as the sea waves got the opportunity, they would again assume a monstrous form and enter the temple. This is the reason why Lord Jagannath tied Hanuman ji there with golden chains. So that Hanuman can protect the Jagannath temple by staying there forever.
It is believed that Hanuman ji is following that order of Lord Jagannath till today. Even today he is protecting the temple by staying in front of Jagannath temple in Puri.
